We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Technician to ensure the optimal performance of our clients' critical equipment. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in mechanical systems and electrical troubleshooting to provide exceptional service and support. Your contributions will directly impact customer satisfaction and the reliability of their operations.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert-level troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance services on rotary screw, reciprocating, Centac, and ECC air compressors, as well as related compressed air system components.
- Install and commission compressed air systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
- Proactively identify and address potential equipment issues, minimizing downtime and maximizing operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the service coordination team to efficiently procure necessary parts and supplies for installations and repairs.
- Educate customers on the benefits of our products, services, and solutions, including preventative maintenance, diagnostics, audits, and leak detection.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentice technicians, fostering their professional development.
- Maintain accurate and detailed service records, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in troubleshooting industrial/commercial mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in reading wiring schematics and diagrams for all equipment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and handheld computer devices.
- Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months with a clean driving record.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving equipment, stooping, and kneeling.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Skills
- In-depth knowledge of industrial air compressor maintenance.
- Experience with advanced network systems installations (IMMC/ASC, X Series Automation).
- Familiarity with basic vibration troubleshooting and air quality analysis.
- EPA Certification.
