We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. Responsibilities
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire service, and brake repair.
- Diagnose and repair automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, and mechanical issues.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various automotive repairs, including alignment, suspension work, and transmission service.
- Work with schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive systems, including diesel engine repair and air brake systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly about repairs needed and offering solutions.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic; dealership experience is preferred not mandatory.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform automotive diagnostics effectively.
- Familiarity with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) is a plus.
- Proficiency in working with GM vehicles is advantageous.
- Experience in auto body repair, welding, and auto estimating is desirable.
- Ability to work on various vehicle systems including shocks & struts, alignment, and suspension components.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all repairs performed.
- Strong communication skills for effective customer interaction and teamwork.
