Job Summary
Calhoun Funeral Homes is looking for Media Specialists to join our team to help us maintain our reputation of excellence as we continue to grow. The Media Specialist works with client families and vendors to create funeral program booklets, creates timely life celebration video presentations for each family that wants it, prepares live streaming for Facebook and other platforms and provides any other desired media deliverables for funeral services. Deliverables must be on time and accurate. The pay is $18.00/hr.
This person works with the Funeral Director to ensure all media-related deliverables are in place in preparation for funeral services.
Calhoun Funeral Homes is the top minority service provider in the entire State of Ohio. We have facilities on Lakeshore Blvd in Cleveland, Rockside Rd. in Bedford Hts., and West Thornton St. in Akron.
This is a non-smoking organization, and the person in this position will report to the Chief of Staff through the Funeral Director.
Requirements:

- Strong written communication skills
- Knowledge of computer systems and programs

- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written communications
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to work effectively as a team member
- Recognition and reliance upon appropriate levels of confidentiality of company and client information
Qualifications:
- Minimum of associate’s degree or 3 years of administrative experience
- 3 years of customer service experience
- 2 years of Canva or similar programs
