What will you be doing?
- People leadership: Manage Finishing, Final Inspection, Packing, Shipping, and Returns departments including 30-40 employees and provide tools, training, resources and support area of responsibility
- Maintain quality standards: Assure the quality of Allen Edmonds domestic footwear production
- Provide quality analysis: Report on internal and external quality data including factory defects, reworks, defective returns, and 5-star rating
- Lead process improvement: Bring forth ideas in area of responsibility that will help make quality improvements, production flow more efficient, improve organization, and reduce costs
- Report on KPIs: Provide reporting on Quality Key Performance Indicators and lead continuous improvement efforts to positively impact those quality performance
- Process documentation: Develop and maintain quality change log and SOP postings
- Partner with internal teams: Works closely with other manufacturing areas and product development to ensure any productivity and quality goals are addressed quickly

- Bachelor of Science in Business Management or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent education and experience preferred
- 5 years previous Management experience of Quality Assurance in manufacturing setting or similar preferred
- 5 Years Project Management Experience
- Lean/Continuous Improvement Experience
- Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Leadership and people management
- Strong Microsoft office skills
- Ability to set strategy and prioritize tasks
