Substitute Nurse Job Posting
Caledonia Central Supervisory Union is seeking substitute School Nurses for the 2025-2026 school year. Remuneration for Nursing Substitutes is higher than that of other per diem substitute work. The Caledonia Central Supervisory Union pays substitute RNs $255 per full day (8 hours) and $200 per full day for LPNs.
The ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:
Current, valid Vermont RN license
CPR and First Aid certified
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience that includes pediatric and community/family-centered nursing
Areas of student health care responsibilities include:
Assessment
First aid
Health screening
Medication administration
Assist in communicable disease control
Immunization assessment
Assessment and care of students with special needs
Additional areas of responsibilities include:
Maintenance of health and medication records/logs
Accident reporting
Providing staff and parents with information on school health policies, and other pertinent health resource information
Providing interpretation of health information to staff and parents communication with community partners, families, and healthcare providers
Promoting a healthy school environment
Salary : $200 - $255
