CCES Physical Education Teacher

Caldwell County Elementary School is seeking a full-time Physical Education Teacher. The candidate will need to foster a positive and engaging environment that promotes physical activity, teamwork, and healthy lifestyle choices among students. This role involves developing and implementing elementary grade level physical education curriculum that aligns with state standards and encourages students to achieve their personal best.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate physical education curriculum that promotes physical fitness, motor skills, and overall well-being.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for physical activity.
• Assess and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support to help them reach their individual fitness goals.
• Organize and supervise physical education classes, ensuring safety and proper use of equipment.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate physical education with other subjects and school activities.
• Stay current with developments in physical education, implement best practices, and innovative teaching strategies.
