Caldwell Collision Inc. is an independent family-owned, I-Car Gold Repair Facility, not a DRP chain shop. Caldwell Collision Inc. has OE Certifications in Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Hyundai, Infiniti, Jeep, Kia, Nissan and Ram Trucks making Caldwell Collision Inc. the only factory Certified Collision Repair Center in our county. Caldwell Collision Inc. is taking applications for an Auto Body Apprentice Technician.
Your responsibilities would include, but are not limited to the following:
- Attend daily production meetings and schedule work performed accordingly.
- Understand or learn vehicle construction.
- Follow leadership & training to perform tasks based on company guidelines.
- Be able to read an estimate to repair the vehicle accordingly.
- Participate in the disassembly of vehicles to help create a comprehensive Repair Plan.
- Have and use personal cell phone to download CCC One estimation app.
- Learn to use estimation app for photo documentation of work performed.
- Learn to properly remove, disassemble and document damaged and non-damaged parts.
- Follow proper procedures to identify condition and correctness of parts.
- Learn to properly organize and store removed parts.
- Learn what OE Guidelines are and how they affect the repair process.
- Learn how to perform some minor body work procedures. (As skill level facilitates.)
- Learn how to properly reassemble a vehicle after it has been refinished.
- Participate in I-Car classes required to maintain shop I-Car status.

- Have a valid driver's license and your own transportation.
- Be on time and reliable. Regular and predictable attendance is expected and required.
- Participate in morning production meetings.
- Participate in periodic company meetings for company or training purposes.
- Participate in periodic after-hours associational meetings for company or training purposes.
- Participate in social media content for marketing purposes.
- Have a good work ethic with pride in your work and yourself with pleasant demeanor.
- Be able to work as a team player with and around others.
- Understand the value and need to treat others with respect and dignity.
- Maintain a clean and organized tool set and work environment.
- Be able to stoop, bend, lift moderately heavy items and generally be able to do manual labor.
- Be able to follow instructions to perform a task with minimal supervision.
- Be able to apply common sense, understanding and problem-solving techniques.
- Performing tasks with a high level of quality mindset.
- Be drug free and submit to a background check.
- Be honest and trustworthy.
- Job tasks are not limited to Disassembly Tech requirements listed.
- This position is not limited in scope to vehicle disassembly only. It is everyone’s responsibility to do whatever is needed within the business to make sure that our customers are provided with the best possible repair and that the company needs are satisfied.
Good, but not required:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Good communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
