Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. Our primary focus is the building, retrofitting, and restoration side of the automotive industry, working on both short and long term builds. The ideal candidate will enjoy working on classic cars, hot rods and restomods, as well as have a strong background in automotive maintenance and installation of parts across various vehicle systems. This role requires a commitment to providing high quality work and working well with a team. We work in a climate-controlled environment with 4 day work weeks and alternating 4 day weekends. Pay is competitive based on experience.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and installation of factory and aftermarket parts and systems such as: A/C, fuel injection, power windows, suspension, brakes, wipers, etc.
- Diagnose and repair issues related to engines, transmissions, power trains, and electrical systems.
- Using hand tools, power tools and diagnostic equipment for various automotive repairs, installations and maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic preferred.
- Familiarity with classic vehicles is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicles, including classic automobiles, upgraded and modern systems, installation of factory/aftermarket parts, repairs, etc.
- Familiarity with auto body repair is a plus.
- Proficient in vehicle maintenance, installation and repair.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a detailed focus on diagnostics and repairs.
- Valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive service are a plus.
