Position Summary
The Pizza Cook will work with kitchen leadership to determine the production goals for the day and ensure quality products are being produced. Must have a passion for cooking and work well as part of a team.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

• Produce excellent quality and presentation of all menu items
• Make fresh pizza dough, sauces, and chop toppings like vegetables and meats
• Assemble custom and standard orders, stretch dough, and monitor oven times and temperatures.
• Know and comply with all presentation, cooking methods, portion sizes, quality standards, and cleanliness standards and procedures
• Keep the line and all other ares of the kitchen clean and assist in daily cleanings
• Stock sufficient levels of food products and tools to the work stations to ensure a smooth shift
• Set up and break down stations, ensuring proper food labeling and storage
• Note any low or out of stock items and report them to the Sous or Executive Chef

Qualifications

• Culinary experience required
• Food service experience or familiarity with commercial kitchens and pizza ovens
• Communicate effectively and clearly with all kitchen and restaurant staff
• Fluency in English an asset
• Familiar with all line stations
• Knife skills
• Ability to multi-task under pressure and maintain a calm attitude with all personalities
• Act professionally with co-workers, bosses, vendors or any guests
• Must be able to stand and work in a kitchen environment for the entirety of a shift
• Must have a flexible schedule
• Must be reliable and show up to scheduled shifts
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and stay through the entire season

Pay: $25.00 per hour
