Supply Chain Analyst / Transportation Operations Support
We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to support transportation, logistics, and operational reporting initiatives within a fast-paced supply chain and delivery organization. This is an entry-level opportunity ideal for someone who is tech-savvy, eager to learn, and comfortable working with data, operational processes, and cross-functional teams.
In this role, you will support transportation operations, reporting, replenishment activities, and project-based initiatives while helping improve operational efficiency across vendors, distribution centers, and delivery networks. The position combines day-to-day operational support with analytical and process improvement responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Support transportation and supply chain operations including shipment coordination, routing support, inventory tracking, and delivery issue resolution
- Perform data entry, reporting, and operational analysis with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and tracking metrics using Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools
- Assist with inventory replenishment, forecasting support, and distribution center coordination
- Analyze operational and transportation issues and perform root cause analysis to identify improvement opportunities
- Support project management activities from project initiation through implementation and rollout
- Gather business requirements, track project milestones, and communicate updates with stakeholders
- Monitor category, program, and operational performance metrics and identify trends
- Collaborate with vendors, merchants, transportation teams, and supply chain stakeholders to support operational initiatives
- Utilize routing or route planning software to support delivery and transportation operations
- Assist with process improvement and business strategy initiatives within Supply Chain operations
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, transportation, operations, manufacturing, data analysis, or related environments preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, reporting, and data analysis
- Ability to manipulate data, learn systems quickly, and work comfortably with technology
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities
- Ability to manage both operational support tasks and project-based assignments
- Experience with routing software, dashboards, Power Query, BigQuery, or reporting tools is a plus
- Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
Additional Information:
- Analyst-level role supporting a supply chain / delivery organization
- Hours: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM Eastern
- Remote position with optional onsite flexibility
- Standard 40-hour work week
