Shift: Saturday - Sunday 6:30am - 5:00pm

Pay Rate: $17/hr

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: 4-Month Contract (this position will come to an end at the end of the 4 month

period)

About the Opportunity

Calculated Hire is seeking a Lockbox Payment Processor to support our banking client in a

high-volume mailroom environment. This is a production-based role focused on processing

checks and remittance documents accurately and eUiciently. The ideal candidate is

reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a fastpaced setting.

Position Summary

The Lockbox Payment Processor is responsible for extracting, sorting, and processing

payments received via mail. This role requires adherence to strict productivity and quality

standards while following specific client instructions for deposit preparation. The position

operates in a structured mailroom environment and requires consistent onsite attendance

and the ability to stand or move for extended periods.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Extract checks and remittance documents from envelopes

• Sort, separate, and prepare payments for deposit

• Enter payment amounts into proprietary software systems

• Follow unique, client-specific instructions for deposit preparation

• Re-associate check copies with invoices and envelopes when required

• Sort completed work into outgoing mail

• Maintain a clean and organized workstation• Meet daily productivity and quality standards

• Adhere to attendance requirements and scheduled shift hours

• Perform repetitive tasks with accuracy and consistency

• No supervisory responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• High reliability and consistent attendance

• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive hand movements for extended periods

• Comfortable working overnight shifts

• Basic computer and data entry skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work in a production-based, high-volume environment

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Must be fully available for the 4-month contract duration

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous mailroom, warehouse, production, or lockbox experience

• Prior banking experience (not required but a plus)

• Candidates who have held previous employment (not new to the workforce)
