Commercial Loan Closer
Des Moines, IA – Hybrid (3 Days in, 2 Days remote)
Summary:
Calculated Hire is seeking a Commercial Loan Closer at our Banking client. This team onboards customers for Key Vendor partners by obtaining contract packages from the sales team. This includes validating onboarding information entered into the system of record, verifying payment information, and issuing the wires to the Vendor Partner.
In this role, you will:
- Work pre-close documents for moderately complex to complex commercial lease/loans
- Perform customer, lease/loan and regulatory diligence
- Accurately evaluate and upload data into the systems of record
- Ensure compliance with all bank policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
- Review and prepare complex lease/loan documents
- Work collaboratively with Credit, Sales and Legal regarding proper procedures and documentation requirements necessary to ensure accuracy with negotiated terms and ensure alignment with appropriate compliance standards
- Provide guidance and training to peers
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues/achieve goals
- Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years of Loan Closing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Commercial loan documentation, preparation, or review experience
- Vendor/Dealer leasing and/or secured lending finance experience
- Ability to develop and manage business relationships
- Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
- Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
- Documentation creation and/or documentation review and funding experience
- Experience reviewing control reports
- Experience analyzing data
- Project management experience
- Knowledge and understanding of collateral perfection process
- Experience with Siebel Originations System, InfoLease System or Lease Connect
- Leadership skills including coaching, training, and mentoring
Pay: $30.00 per hour
