Paralegal / Administrative Support
Frankfort, KY (Onsite | M-F)
Long-Term Contract (w/ potential to convert to FTE)
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Paralegal / Administrative Support professional. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of legal processes who can effectively support attorneys in case preparation, legal research, and administrative coordination. This position offers the opportunity to transition into a permanent role based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and provide summaries to support case development.
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs using established templates.
- Assist attorneys in trial and mediation preparation, including compiling case materials and summaries.
- Organize, maintain, and manage both physical and electronic case files.
- Collect, track, and manage evidentiary documents ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Coordinate court filings and ensure compliance with deadlines and legal procedures.
- Maintain and update calendars related to filings, hearings, and case milestones.
- Ensure all documentation and processes adhere to legal and organizational standards.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and maintain a high level of professionalism.
Required Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of court systems and legal procedures.
- Experience conducting legal research and drafting legal documents.
- Strong organizational and document management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a legal, government, or law office setting
- Paralegal certification or equivalent experience
