Senior Manager - Global Payroll Operations
Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Global Payroll Operations Leader to oversee payroll operations across approximately 70 countries. This is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring payroll delivery, operational consistency, stakeholder communication, and country-level support across a complex global payroll environment.
This position will serve as a key point of contact for executive leadership and regional teams, providing oversight, guidance, and operational leadership across the global payroll function.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee global payroll operations across multiple countries and regions.
- Serve as the primary payroll operations leader for executive stakeholders and business leadership.
- Partner with country payroll teams and regional leaders to address operational questions, risks, and escalations.
- Ensure consistent governance, and operational standards across the organization.
- Provide leadership and direction to global payroll teams and stakeholders.
- Support payroll-related decision making by providing operational insight and recommendations.
- Monitor payroll performance, identify areas of concern, and drive resolution of operational issues.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to support successful payroll delivery worldwide.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience leading global payroll operations in a large, multi-country environment.
- Experience overseeing payroll across numerous countries and regions.
- Previous experience in a Senior Manager, Director, or higher-level payroll leadership role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with executive leadership and country-level teams.
- Proven experience managing complex global payroll operations.

- Experience supporting large multinational organizations.
- Knowledge of global payroll systems and processes.
- Experience working within complex, matrixed environments.
Additional Information
- Location: Houston, TX preferred.

- Compensation: Approximately $180,000 base salary.
- Start Date: ASAP.
- Includes annual incentive plan plus annual equity awards after 1 year of service.
