Contract Administrator / Technical Assistant II

We are seeking a detail-oriented Contract Administrator / Technical Assistant II to support the processing of pole attachment requests for CATV, telecom, telephone, and governmental entities. This role plays a key part in ensuring requests are completed accurately and within FCC timelines, while supporting coordination between engineering teams and contractors.
About the Role:
In this position, you will manage high-volume, detail-driven workflows related to utility pole attachments. You’ll work closely with Joint Use Engineering Contractors and internal engineering teams, ensuring data accuracy and timely processing across multiple systems.
This is an office-based, non-physical role focused on data entry, coordination, and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process pole attachment requests (attach, remove, adjust) across multiple utility systems
- Maintain and update data across systems including Maximo, PeopleSoft, JUMS, ARGUS, and Spida
- Accurately create and manage invoices for MakeReady and Engineering charges
- Process contractor invoices for payment
- Review and validate data, reports, and documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Coordinate with utilities, engineering teams, and contractors to ensure timely task completion
- Maintain organized records, files, and documentation
- Support reporting, scheduling, and correspondence as needed
- Identify discrepancies and recommend process improvements

Required Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in a technical or related field
- OR
- High School Diploma/GED 2 years of related work experience
