Overview
Calculated Hire is in search of multiple Business Execution Consultants (Level II and Level III) to support a large-scale automation and transformation initiative within our Fortune 100 client's Wealth & Investment Management (WIM) Operations group. This team is focused on replacing legacy processes with low-code automation tools, primarily Alteryx and Xceptor, and driving adoption across the organization. These roles will support both execution and enablement — helping teams understand how to use these tools while also pushing active automation projects forward.
Job Description
- Support the execution and delivery of automation initiatives using Alteryx and Xceptor within WIM Operations
- Partner with business teams to understand current processes and determine how automation can be applied
- Build, modify, and troubleshoot workflows focused on data extraction, transformation, and reporting
- Provide hands-on guidance to teams and developers on how to effectively use Alteryx and Xceptor
- Help move multiple concurrent projects forward by identifying blockers and recommending solutions
- Support both straightforward data workflows and more complex exception-based processes within Xceptor
- Assist with data manipulation, enrichment, and reporting outputs across multiple systems
- Contribute to process improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to streamline and optimize workflows
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with Alteryx (building, modifying, or supporting workflows)
- Experience with Xceptor strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of data transformation concepts (joins, filters, formulas, data blending)
- Ability to work across multiple projects in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on process improvement and solutioning
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and evolving processes
Required Qualifications
- BEC II: 2–5 years of experience in automation, data analysis, or process improvement roles
- BEC III: 5–8 years of experience with deeper ownership of automation solutions and project delivery
- Experience working with tools such as Alteryx, Xceptor, SQL, or similar platforms
- Demonstrated ability to support or lead workflow-based initiatives from concept through execution
- Comfortable working with both business stakeholders and technical teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in financial services or large enterprise environments
- Exposure to low-code automation tools or process transformation initiatives
- Familiarity with Access databases or legacy system replacements
- Experience working with exception-based workflows or operational reporting processes
