Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a K-5 Elementary Teacher at the Calcasieu Parish School Board in Lake Charles, LA. The primary responsibilities of this role include designing and delivering engaging lessons aligned with educational standards, monitoring student progress, and adapting instruction to meet diverse learner needs. The role also involves fostering a positive classroom environment, collaborating with colleagues and parents, and helping students build the foundational skills necessary for educational success.
Qualifications
- Strong instructional and curriculum-planning skills, with experience managing lesson plans and aligning them with state or national standards.
