Position: Sr. Project Manager (AWS Cloud-Native)

Pay Rate: $74.00 per hour (W2 Only)
HIRING REQUIREMENTS:

HOURS: MON- FRI/40 Hours weekly - ONSITE
Sr. Project Manager will focused on delivering a high-quality Dealer Communication System (DCS) that meets current and future dealer and business needs. They will manage the development of the DCS, this individual will also be involved in developing and delivering proposals, dashboards, and presentations to all levels of business and management.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of the Dealer Communication System (DCS) across multiple business areas.
Provide governance and oversight of end-to-end delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, budget, and schedule commitments.
Maintain a high-performing team composed of associates, contingent staff, and vendor partners.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Sales, Parts, Service, Finance, and IT to ensure successful execution.
Develop and deliver executive-level dashboards, proposals, and presentations.
Monitor and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial health ensuring adherence to approved funding and cost targets.
Serve as a power user of JIRA, Confluence, and Clarity for project tracking, documentation, and portfolio reporting.
Perform detailed budget calculations, variance analysis, and financial reporting to ensure projects remain on-budget.
Coordinate with Enterprise Architecture and Infrastructure teams to support replatforming and modernization efforts.
Ensure onsite leadership presence at the Torrance, CA office approximately 80% of the time.
PROJECT DUTIES:
Overseeing the migration from legacy ASP.NET systems to a cloud-native, microservices-based architecture on AWS.
Managing phased rollouts of dealer capabilities such as VIN inquiry, warranty claims, parts ordering, and service contracts.
Driving architectural transformation in collaboration with IT, Enterprise Architecture, and vendor partners.
Ensuring integration with over 52 backend systems while maintaining business continuity and compliance.
Supporting strategic goals such as improving dealer satisfaction, reducing infrastructure costs, and enabling future innovation.
Managing financials and reporting through Clarity and other tools to support portfolio-level visibility and governance.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
TOP SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE:
10 years in Information Technology/Information Services
5 years Project/Technical Management, leading Cloud-native Architectures, Client-Server, SaaS and PaaS platforms, and enterprise integrations.
Proven success managing $5M budgets and delivering high-volume transactional applications, large-scale enterprise projects.
Strong project experience with Agile and Waterfall
Experience using JIRA, Confluence and/or Clarity for dashboards, documentation, and financial tracking.
Experience with high-volume transactional platforms or dealer systems (DCS/DMS)
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
5 years of project management experience (Agile and Waterfall), leading application development and portfolio support.
3 years managing/leading project teams, groups, and vendors.
3 years working with enterprise organizations such as Legal, Procurement, and Enterprise Architecture.
2 years procuring and managing outsourced and offsite partners.
Technical understanding of mobile, web, and services-based solutions.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
