Job Title: Sr. Project Manager – IT Infrastructure Overview:
Our client is looking for a Senior IT Project Manager and take the lead in transforming our clients’ technological landscape! Based in Torrance, California, you will spearhead ambitious IT infrastructure projects that utilize cutting-edge networking, wireless, cybersecurity, servers, storage, and cloud technologies. As the primary point of contact between clients, engineers, and vendors, you'll ensure that projects are executed on time, within budget, and meet strategic objectives. If you're passionate about connecting business goals with technical execution while thriving in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you! Required Skills:
Minimum of 8 years experience in IT project management with emphasis on networking, wireless, server/storage, cloud, VoIP, and cybersecurity projects.
Proven management experience in enterprise-level deployments utilizing Cisco, Aruba/HP, and Fortinet technologies.
Strong technical knowledge of LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, VoIP systems, and networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
Proficiency in project management methodologies with hands-on experience using tools like Microsoft Project and Smartsheet.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills for effective collaboration across cross-functional teams and with clients.
Nice to Have Skills:
Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
Experience managing cloud environments, including AWS and Azure.
Knowledge of cloud-managed security platforms like Fortinet FortiManager or similar.
Proficient in technical documentation, RFPs, and SOWs.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
Fortinet Certified Professional (FCP) certification is a plus.
Other Requirements:
Willingness to travel for site visits, client meetings, and implementation oversight.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are necessary.
