Summary of the Role
The Staff Accountant is primarily responsible for the timely preparation of monthly accounting records and related entries.
Primary Responsibilities

Completes a variety of activities as it relates to the financial statement close process including certain revenue and operating expense accruals.

Performs analytical review of certain revenues and operating expenses.

Performs general ledger reconciliations.

Assists in and completes certain deliverables related to annual and quarterly analysis.

Assists with the preparation of the Company’s income tax workpapers and prepares supporting documentation for annual tax return filings.

Provides support and participates in the gathering of information for internal and external audits.

Demonstrated ability to leverage AI productivity tools to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort. Comfort working alongside automated systems and evaluating AI-generated outputs for accuracy.

Identifies ways to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the department.

Participates in special projects as assigned by management.

Performs related duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.

At least two years experience in a similar role.

CPA preferred.

Must be detail oriented with the ability to interpret a variety of data.

Computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Accounting software.
Compensation Disclosure
The compensation for this role takes into account various factors, including work location, individual skill set, relevant experience, and other business needs. The estimated base salary range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000. Additionally, this position may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
