Summary of the Role
The Staff Accountant is primarily responsible for the timely processing of a variety of accounts payable activities.
Primary Responsibilities

Responsible for processing and posting invoices, travel and entertainment expense reports and purchase orders, including verification of general ledger account coding and proper manager approvals.

Researches and resolves vendor issues and discrepancies.

Completes activities as it relates to the financial statement close process including certain journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.

Demonstrated ability to leverage AI productivity tools to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort. Comfort working alongside automated systems and evaluating AI-generated outputs for accuracy.

Identifies ways to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the department.

Participates in special projects as assigned by management.

Performs related duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.

Up to two years experience in a similar role.

Must be detail oriented with the ability to interpret a variety of data.

Computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Accounting software.
Compensation Disclosure
The compensation for this role takes into account various factors, including work location, individual skill set, relevant experience, and other business needs. The estimated base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000. Additionally, this position may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
