You're an excellent candidate for our Child Nutrition Department position, if you have a passion for working with children, are energized by working in a fast-paced work environment, enjoy working in a team, and you possess the following qualifications and competencies: Any combination equivalent to: high school graduation or equivalent and some experience in food preparation, kitchen maintenance and handling cash transactions.

Located in east San Diego County. The district is 66.3 square miles in size, and serves elementary students in grades K-8 feeding into the Grossmont Union High School District. The district has approximately 16,600 students, plus approximately 800 preschool students, with 26 schools (6 middle schools, 19 elementary schools and 1 preschool). The District is largely urban in nature with some rural areas. Regardless of what our employees’ needs are, we meet them with the personalized attention only a caring school district can provide. This recruitment is to establish an eligibility list that will be used to fill current and future vacancies up to one year.
