Job Summary
Cairn Diagnostics is a small, novel, FDA-regulated, Class III, In-Vitro diagnostic medical device manufacturer located in Brentwood, Tennessee. We also operate a specialized CLIA-licensed clinical laboratory. We are currently looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Device Manufacturing and Shipping Specialist to join our growing company. The Device Manufacturing and Shipping Specialist is an integral member of the Manufacturing Team, providing support throughout the entire process for manufacturing and distributing the Gastric Emptying Breath Test (GEBT). Specifically, this position will:
Primary Responsibilities
- Participate in GEBT manufacturing processes
- Package and ship kits both domestically and internationally using various carrier companies
- Generate labeling for GEBT manufacturing processes
- Manage device component inventory
- Manage finished medical device inventory
- Interact with Cairn’s Client Services Team to satisfy kit order requests
- Inbound receiving of components
- Generate packing slips and shipping labels for GEBT kit shipments
- Assist in the revision of quality documents (SOPs, SPECs, forms, logs, templates, etc.)
Secondary Responsibilities
- Participate in training programs
- Participate in Cairn’s 13C-Spirulina production
- Contribute to various continuous improvement projects within the device manufacturing and shipping departments
- Track critical metrics and KPIs related to device production and shipping.
Skills
The Device Manufacturing and Shipping Specialist position is ideal for someone who is self-motivated and able to succeed in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, applicants should have:
- Meticulous attention to detail and documentation protocols
- Ability to adapt within an environment of shifting priorities
- A good attitude toward teamwork along with the ability to work independently
- Outstanding problem-solving and organizational abilities
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Experience working within an ERP system is a plus
Qualification Criteria
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role or industry
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, management, accounting, logistics, quality control, manufacturing, or related field preferred (relevant work experience may be substituted for a degree)
Employment Information
- Full-time: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm
- On-site in Brentwood and Franklin, TN
- Salary range: $45,000-$55,000 annually depending on experience
