Job Title: 2nd shift Janitor

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Janitor to join our team to help with evening cleaning once the business is closed. As a Janitor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and safety within our facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning, facilities maintenance, custodial duties, and floor care.

Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming
- Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper waste disposal
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas including hallways, lobbies, and break rooms
- Perform minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and fixing minor repairs
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines for handling cleaning chemicals
- Notify management of any damages or repairs needed

Requirements:
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning, porter services, or custodial work
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects if required
- Experience with floor care including buffing, waxing, and polishing is a plus
- Familiarity with residential painting or industrial cleaning is an advantage
