Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, configuration, and testing of AutoCount hardware and software on customer sites.
- Connect and integrate AutoCount with production equipment, ensuring accurate data collection and communication between systems.
- Conduct electrical setup and troubleshooting, including wiring, sensors, and machine interfaces.
- Collaborate with software consultants and project managers to ensure successful implementation according to project timelines.
- Provide end-user training and support during go-live and post-implementation phases.
- Document all installation steps, configurations, and customer-specific setups.
- Proactively identify and resolve technical issues during and after deployment.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, including wiring, sensors and control panels.
- Hands-on experience with machine setup, diagnostics, or automation equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and travel to customer sites as needed. (60% of the time)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred (or willingness to learn):
- Basic understanding of software configuration, databases (SQL), or manufacturing software systems.
- Experience with AutoCount or other shop floor data collection systems.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Modbus, OPC).
Training and Development:
If the candidate does not already have software experience, training will be provided to build the necessary knowledge in AutoCount software configuration, data integration, and troubleshooting.
