What You’ll Do
- Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound collection calls
- Negotiate payment arrangements while maintaining professionalism and compliance
- Follow established collections call models and techniques
- Perform skip-tracing to locate customers and update account information
- Accurately document all account activity and customer interactions
- Process payments via check-by-phone and ACH
- Use basic math skills to resolve account balances and payment plans
- Meet monthly performance goals set by management
- Communicate clearly and effectively with customers, including de-escalating difficult situations
- Support the Collections Manager with daily operational tasks
- Perform additional duties as assigned

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years of collections experience in sub-prime auto finance
- Working knowledge of FDCPA regulations and applicable state laws
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle difficult or irate customers with professionalism
- Excellent communication and active listening skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Ability to multi-task, including speaking with customers while documenting notes
- Experience with skip-tracing preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with occasional Saturdays
- Onsite role in Scottsdale, Arizona
- Office environment with a high volume of phone-based communication
- Fast-paced, team-oriented setting
