Responsible for maintaining proper accounting records. Accurately and effectively classify, prepare, record, and verify financial data for multiple entities. Responsible for performing various reporting tasks.
Responsibilities Include (but Not Limited To) The Following
- Download daily cash receipts / deposits from various bank websites.
- Reconcile daily bank deposits to daily cash postings.
- Initiate and maintain tickets in ticketing system for each daily cash deposit variance that is identified.
- Coordinate with operations team and resolve deposit discrepancies and issues.
- Work closely with Loss Prevention on shortages/missing deposits.
- Reconcile all credit cards, gift cards, and delivery app receipts to General Ledger.
- Paid out auditing.
- Special projects as needed.
- High School diploma, associate degree preferred but required.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience in the accounting field required.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize assignments and strong attention to detail.
- Strong proficiency using Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team or independently, self-starter.
