Duties
- Assist with the operation and monitoring of coffee roasting machines, ensuring precise temperature control and consistent product quality
- Support the cleaning and sanitation of roasting equipment, packaging lines, and production areas in compliance with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards
- Conduct routine equipment troubleshooting to identify and resolve mechanical or operational issues promptly, minimizing downtime
- Handle raw coffee beans and finished products safely using proper manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as forklifts when necessary
- Support packaging processes, including bagging, labeling, and sealing coffee products with attention to quality assurance standards within the food and beverage industry
- Maintain accurate records of production data, sanitation logs, safety checks, and quality inspections
- Follow strict safety protocols during all manufacturing activities, including industrial chemical handling and heavy lifting procedures
Requirements
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures, HACCP protocols, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and safety standards in production settings
- Mechanical knowledge and experience troubleshooting equipment issues are essential for maintaining smooth operations
- Ability to operate machinery related to brewing, packaging, and warehouse functions with precision
- Basic math skills for measurements, recipe adjustments, and quality checks
- Experience with forklift operation and material handling equipment is advantageous
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and industrial chemical handling procedures
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work effectively within a team environment that emphasizes safety protocol adherence
