Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily front-of-house operations and ensure smooth service
- Coach, motivate, and develop servers, hosts, bartenders, expo and support staff
- Maintain Zola's standards of hospitality, food quality and service
- Train, schedule, and evaluate team members
- Monitor labor costs, productivity and sales performance
- Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and genuine hospitality
- Work closely with the culinary team to ensure seamless communication
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and health department standards
- Check quality of deliveries and accuracy of invoices
- Support marketing initiatives, seasonal promotions, and special events
Qualifications
- 2 years of restaurant management experience
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Experience managing high-volume dining environments
- Strong understanding of labor management and restaurant financials
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions
- Flexible availability, including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of food and drink preparation and presentation
- Food safety certification preferred
