Food Runner/Expo

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires a passion for food service and hospitality, along with the ability to communicate effectively with both kitchen staff and customers.

Duties

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all orders are accurate and meet quality standards before serving.
• Assist in setting up and clearing tables, including bussing dishes and utensils.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including the service stations.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order status and any special requests from guests.
• Support waitstaff by providing additional assistance during busy periods, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Adhere to food safety guidelines and restaurant policies at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
• Bilingual communication English/Spanish is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn about kitchen operations, including cooking techniques.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends as needed.
