What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista position at Cafe Andreini?
Looking for a barista who loves coffee and being a part of an amazing team! Experience is preferred but not necessary, we will teach you everything that you need to know. Must be available to work weekends. Our hours of operation are 7am-3pm.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly manner, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Operate the POS system for transactions, handling cash and credit payments accurately.
- Prepare and serve coffee and food items while adhering to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment and supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to manage time effectively during busy periods.
- Assist in food preparation and ensure a high-quality product is served to customers.
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to engage with customers
- Proficiency in using POS systems,
- Strong time management and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of food safety and handling practices
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail transactions
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.90 - $17.00 per hour
