JOB SUMMARY
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned, as necessary. Essential Job Functions:
- Greets customers and takes food and beverage orders in an efficient, courteous and professional manner.
- Prepares food and beverage orders and delivers them in a timely manner in accordance with the venues standards.
- Monitors guests’ needs on a continual basis, ensuring all requests are promptly fulfilled. Handles and solves any concerns and questions customers may have.
- Performs cash handling tasks, as required and in accordance with the cash handling procedures.
- Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of guest and work areas, including tables, chairs, counters, display shelves and storage as assigned.
- Performs all side work and stocking of supplies in accordance with venue standards.
- Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY
- Must have previous cash handling and Micros register experience.
- Previous bartending experience is a plus.
- Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must be willing to participate in on-going training in the beverage field.
- Must have knowledge of current property events, promotions and attractions.
- Must be able to work independently, with little supervision.
- Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift.
- Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
- Must adhere to uniform requirements
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Must be able to work in excessive heat for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work inside and maneuver throughout assigned station during entire shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and bend, pull and carry stock to refrigerator and cabinets.
- Must be able to use hand motion when cleaning and wiping counters.
- Must possess the manual dexterity to complete required “side work”.
- Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
