Senior Manufacturing Supervisor - CAES Lansdale, PA

Every part we produce supports the world’s most demanding aerospace and defense platforms.
As a Senior Manufacturing Supervisor, you’ll be at the helm of our testing and evaluation efforts—guiding procedures, specifying test protocols, and driving continuous improvement across equipment, processes, and product design. You’ll collaborate with engineers, planners, and production teams to ensure quality, efficiency, and innovation across our ISO-certified, two-shift operation. This role oversees the planning, development, and implementation of procedures for testing and evaluating standard and special devices. You’ll specify the tests to be performed, compile and analyze data, and make recommendations for improvements in testing equipment, manufacturing processes, and new testing requirements. You’ll also play a key role in recommending and evaluating new test equipment purchases.

Responsibilities
- Provides direct supervision to professional individual contributors according to established policies and management guidance
- Acts as advisor to unit and may be actively involved, as required, to meet schedules and resolve problems
- Sets goals and objectives for team and the process by which to meet goals
- Conducts performance reviews bi-annually
- Maintains Key performance Indicators to track and improve team performance
Minimum:
- A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Intermediate skill with MS Excel; set up and formatting of spreadsheets, basic graphics and charts, maintaining large Excel spreadsheets
- Certified training in lean manufacturing and root cause analysis, with intermediate knowledge of the RCCA toolset.
- Demonstrated results through performance management - measuring and positively driving improvement on business KPIs
- This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a “US Person” under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- Preference given to those in Aerospace or Defense Industry
- Active security clearance strongly preferred
- 4 years' experience supervising a large size group of support workers, technicians, and machinists
- Production planning background, including ERP and shop floor software
