Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Field Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing advanced technical tasks in the field, ensuring that equipment is installed, maintained, and repaired to the highest standards. Cadre is a Natural Gas Compression Company, and the ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving abilities and technical knowledge, particularly with the use of basic hand tools, Laser Alignment, Emissions analyzer, to diagnose and troubleshoot issues effectively.
Duties
- Conduct installation, maintenance, and repair of Natural Gas Compressors in various field locations.
- Utilize an ohmmeter to measure electrical resistance and diagnose electrical issues as shorts to ground on 24-volt systems.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Provide technical support and training to junior technicians as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all operations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Field Technician or similar role in a technical environment.
- Proficient in using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various job sites as required.
- Preferred experience on Caterpillar/ Ariel combinations Cgs, 3500s, 3600s.
- Sufficient in trouble shooting problems on Engines and Ariel Gas Compressors.
- Ability to operate Ariel Performance program.
- I/O automation background not required but a plus.

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
