What are the responsibilities and job description for the BCBA/BCaBA position at Cadenza Center for Psychotherapy and the Arts?
At Cadenza Center for Psychotherapy and the Arts, we’ve spent 25 years building a clinician-led model that addresses the issues most BCBAs quietly struggle with. We’ve chosen a different approach because behavior analysis doesn’t happen in isolation—and neither should the people doing the work.
Our client-focused work means all BCBAs support each other to ensure optimal outcomes: clients seen EVERY week, RBTs supervised every week, ability to share cases to ensure generalization, in-house diagnostic and psychological evaluations establish clinical necessity to support initial plans and re-authorization support, and clinically-focused oversight weekly with our ABA Clinical Director (intention to support cases, resolve barriers, and consult on plan modifications).
What makes our COMPENSATION MODEL different:
- Guaranteed 40 hour work-week (full-time stability)
- Typical caseload is a maximum of 7 clients to allow for REAL oversight
- Flexible, hybrid model; weekly clinical support (not focused primarily on work products)
- ALL worked hours compensated at your full rate (yes, even driving between clients)
- Non-exempt structure - which means OVER-TIME is paid at 1.5
- No unpaid gaps between clients, cancellations, or transitions
- All analysts support one another (not work in isolation)
- Ability to assist other current cases to support generalization & clinical oversight
- No work expected "off the clock"
The Cadenza Center difference is in how the work is structured, how it actually impacts your day-to-day life, how you’re compensated, and whether the model is sustainable. We have created a collaborative model where clinicians don’t have to choose between doing their job well and protecting their own time.
⸻
Cadenza Center’s model is NOT volume-driven.
Our analysts:
* Manage intentionally-structured caseloads designed for quality, not overload
* Work within a true interdisciplinary team (psychologists, therapists, creative arts therapists)
* Receive ongoing collaboration and clinical support, not just administrative oversight
* Have the time and space to think, plan, and lead their cases effectively
Because behavior analysis doesn’t happen in isolation—and neither should the people doing the work.
This role is for BCBAs who:
* Value clinical integrity and thoughtful decision-making
* Want stability without sacrificing quality of care
* Are looking for a team—not just a position
Our model integrates: Behavioral services, mental health care, creative arts therapies, diagnostic and psychological evaluations (that establish medical necessity & support creation of meaningful initial ABA plans.
All under one roof—with collaboration as the expectation, not the exception.
⸻
If you’ve been in the field long enough to know the difference between “standard” and “sustainable,” this role will feel different.
