Our next-generation technology platform combines smart technology, advanced analytics, and deep clinical expertise to deliver personalized medication guidance and improve outcomes for injured workers. As a fast-growing, entrepreneurial organization, we're passionate about innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. If you enjoy solving complex business challenges, improving processes, and building technology solutions that make a meaningful impact, you'll thrive at Cadence Rx.

We’re seeking a Regulatory & Governmental Affairs Manager to monitor the evolving regulatory landscape, assess its business impact, and help guide our response. This role will translate complex healthcare policy into clear, practical recommendations for leaders and teams across Cadence Rx.

What You’ll Do

  • Monitor federal and state legislative and regulatory developments affecting PBMs, workers’ compensation, and healthcare.
  • Evaluate new requirements and communicate their operational, financial, and compliance impact.
  • Prepare regulatory summaries, impact assessments, briefings, and recommendations.
  • Maintain regulatory calendars and track rulemaking, deadlines, and effective dates.
  • Build relationships with regulators, industry groups, and governmental affairs contacts.
  • Lead internal communication of regulatory changes, helping Operations, Clinical, Client Strategies, Legal, and other teams understand and implement new requirements.
  • Support external regulatory communications, including agency responses, regulatory inquiries, comment letters, and engagement with industry associations.
  • Partner with the Compliance Manager on state PBM and TPA licensing, registration, reporting, and related regulatory interpretation.
  • Identify emerging regulatory risks and opportunities so Cadence Rx can respond proactively rather than reactively.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in law, public policy, business, healthcare administration, or a related field; JD or master’s degree preferred.
  • Five or more years of regulatory, governmental affairs, or compliance experience in a PBM or healthcare organization.
  • Strong understanding of PBM regulations and legislative processes.
  • Ability to interpret complex requirements and explain their business impact clearly.
  • Excellent analytical, writing, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Sound judgment and the ability to manage multiple jurisdictions and deadlines.

Why You’ll Love Working at Cadence Rx

At Cadence Rx, we believe great people do their best work when they feel supported, challenged, and appreciated. As a growing, entrepreneurial organization, we offer the opportunity to influence important decisions, strengthen emerging processes, and help shape how we navigate a complex and changing regulatory landscape.

What You Can Expect

  • A positive and engaging culture built on collaboration, transparency, and mutual respect.
  • Open communication with leaders who value employee expertise, feedback, and ideas.
  • Meaningful work with visibility across the organization.
  • Opportunities for career growth, continuous learning, and professional development.
  • Competitive compensation with bonus opportunities.
  • A flexible hybrid work environment that supports work-life balance.
  • A paid day off to celebrate your birthday.
  • Generous PTO ranging from 12 to 22 days annually based on years of service.
  • Six paid company holidays.
  • A comprehensive benefits package.

If you enjoy turning healthcare policy into business action and want to help shape regulatory strategy at a growing company, we’d love to hear from you.
