As a Direct Care Worker, you will be an essential part of our team, helping patients maintain their independence and quality of life. Your role will involve providing hands-on assistance with daily routines, supporting health and wellness, and fostering community connections.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living and personal hygiene.
- Prepare meals and offer medication reminder support.
- Perform light housekeeping and assist with shopping or errands.
- Escort patients to medical appointments and community activities.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of care provided.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Preferred: PCA, CNA, HHA, DSP, or Med Tech certification (not required).
- Valid clearances: Criminal background check, child abuse clearance, and FBI fingerprinting.
- Recent physical exam and completed 2-step TB test.
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic.
- At least one year of caregiving experience is preferred.
