Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Set-Up Technician with strong mill and/or lathe experience to join our team and support high-mix, tight-tolerance aerospace machining programs. In this role, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce precision components that meet strict quality standards. Your expertise in CNC programming, tooling, and machine setup will ensure efficient production processes, optimize machining operations, and uphold safety and quality protocols. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, write, modify, and optimize CNC mill and lathe programs from engineering drawings and CAD models.
- Perform complete machine setups, including tooling, fixtures, and workholding.
- Partner with engineering and production teams to improve machining methods, cycle times, and quality.
- Prove out new programs and setups; troubleshoot and refine as needed.
- Support daily machining operations and resolve production issues to minimize downtime.
- Perform first-article and in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment.
- Maintain accurate documentation for programs, setups, tooling, and process changes.
- Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards in a regulated aerospace environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification preferred.
- 5 years CNC machining experience, with strong programming and setup capability on mills and/or lathes in an aerospace or high-precision environment.
- Proficient in G-code and M-code; experience with Mastercam and/or Inventor preferred.
- Experience with FANUC, Haas, and similar controls.
- Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and fixturing.
- Experience machining aerospace materials such as aluminum, titanium, stainless steel, and high-strength alloys.
- Detail-oriented, quality-driven, and capable of working independently or within a team.

ITAR Requirement
