What you’ll do
- Guide new team members through onboarding and orientation, ensuring a smooth start
- Keep employee files and HR databases accurate and up to date
- Handle employment actions and paperwork (new hires, terminations, status changes)
- Respond to employee questions on HR policies, benefits, and procedures
- Coordinate employee training sessions and engagement events
- Support payroll preparation and attendance tracking
- Help maintain compliance with labor laws and internal policies
- Create HR reports, spreadsheets, and documentation as needed
- Pitch in on additional administrative tasks across the HR function
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or a related area preferred
- 1–2 years of HR or administrative experience
- Strong organization and time-management abilities
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Discretion with confidential information
- Detail orientation and problem-solving mindset
- Familiarity with HR practices and employment laws is a plus
- Comfort juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Positive, curious, and eager-to-learn attitude
- Spanish-speaking or bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred
