What are the responsibilities and job description for the OPERATIONS SUPPORT SPECIALIST position at CACIQUE LLC?
SUMMARY: The Operations Support Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of daily business operations. This position supports cross-functional teams by managing proper documentation, maintaining inventory, and assisting with process improvements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and maintain the entire uniform process
- Maintain and review the inventory at each location in the facility to include systematical movements.
- Generating purchase requests in D365 to also include Sanitation chemicals
- Requesting/submitting purchase orders and quotes from vendors
- Conducting daily cycle counts by using counting journals
- Correcting Batch codes to ensure production order closures.
- Researching cost savings opportunities
- Maintaining good relations with suppliers and vendors to ensure a steady supply of goods necessary.
- Provide day-to-day operational support to internal teams and departments
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma required
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Project Management, or related field preferred
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficient Microsoft office skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIORNMENT:
- Required to maneuver plant and warehouse workspaces which involve:
- Continually standing, walking, sitting, talking, or hearing, work around loud machinery and moving parts, utilize hand and finger dexterity
- Occasionally exposed to extreme heat, extreme cold, wet and/or humid conditions (non-weather), required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, exposed to outside weather conditions, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds safely
