CACI’s Enterprise IT (EIT) Sector is seeking a multi-disciplined Network Engineer (Lead) in support of the Army Comprehensive Modernization program. From conducting site surveys to design, engineering, and implementing innovative designs, you’ll contribute to delivering high-performance, secure and modern network solutions that enhance mission readiness across Army CONUS locations.

Responsibilities:
Multi-disciplined senior network engineer with experience in assessing, designing, engineering, maintaining and fixing wired and wireless network solutions Provides touch labor for all network devices.
Establishes Network information requirements using analysis of the Network engineer(s) in the development of enterprise-wide or large-scale networking infrastructure (CAN, LAN, WAN).
Designs architecture to include the software, hardware and communications to support the total requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces.
Ensures these Network systems are compatible and in compliance with the standards for open systems architectures, the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) and International Standards Organization (ISO) reference models and profiles of standards - such as Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) Open Systems Environment (OSE) reference model - as they apply to the implementation and specification of Information Management (IM) solution of the network layers, across the application program interface (API) and the external environment/software application.
Ensures that the network/transport layers of the common operating environment are compliant.
Evaluates analytically and systematically problems of workflows and network usage, organization and planning and develops appropriate corrective action.
Provides daily supervision and direction to staff.
Communicates clearly and succinctly, both written and orally, and presents products and ideas in a business-like manner.
Qualifications:
Required:
US citizen with ability to obtain Secret security clearance
Technical bachelor’s degree plus at least 10 years of relevant experience (HS diploma or associate degree with 15 years of Network Engineer experience may be considered in lieu of technical bachelor’s degree)
Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Specific Skills: Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
Desired:
Active Secret security clearance
Experience with DoD IT security requirements
Experience in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
ITIL v3 or ITSM experience
Experience supporting US Army and local installation environments
DoD 8140 Baseline Certification (CompTIA Security CE or CCNA-SEC)
