What will you do?
CACI is currently seeking an Electronics Technician. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic, growing, cross-functional, and geographically distributed team. The position is based in our Windsor Mill, MD location. Your future team has worked together to produce the following job description:
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
• test,
• assembly
• inspection
• debugging/troubleshooting
• rework
• evaluation
of complex RF and digital circuit boards and assemblies.
The candidate will be instrumental in the testing, debugging, and rework of products during pre-delivery integration, acceptance test, and delivery phases of the product life cycle.
Duties will include, but not be limited to
• Test
• Assembly
• Troubleshooting
• Rework
• Reading and understanding schematics
The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, take initiative, and work well with internal and external customers.
Basic Requirements
- US citizenship, due to nature of the work and contract requirement
- Minimum 5 years hands-on experience as an electronics technician
- Ability to lift and carry 25-45 lbs.
- Experience troubleshooting RF and digital circuitry
- Experience using multimeters, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes - Working knowledge of radiofrequency or electronic warfare
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend detailed written and verbal instructions, assembly instructions, test procedures, schematics, and other engineering documentation
Preferred Qualifications
- SECRET clearance
- Minimum 5-10 years Troubleshooting CCAs to the component level
- Experience with hand soldering of fine pitch surface-mount parts
- IPC-A610 certification
- Experience with electronic systems test and evaluation
- Strong attention to detail
