Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacy Technician role based in Logan, UT. The Pharmacy Technician supports pharmacists with processing and filling prescriptions, including data entry, labeling, and preparing medications in accordance with state and federal regulations. Daily responsibilities include assisting patients at the counter and by phone, answering questions within scope of practice, and providing courteous, efficient customer service. The role includes managing inventory by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, rotating products, and monitoring expiration dates. The Pharmacy Technician will also help maintain a clean, organized work area, support cash register operations, coordinate with insurance providers as directed, and follow all safety, privacy, and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with prescription processing and accuracy in handling prescription data and labeling.
- Knowledge of pharmacy operations and workflows in a community or retail pharmacy setting.
- Experience or training as a Pharmacy Technician, including understanding of technician responsibilities and scope of practice.
- Skills in inventory control, including receiving, stocking, tracking, and rotating medications and products.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, handle inquiries professionally, and support a positive patient experience.
- High attention to detail, reliability, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, move and organize stock, and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
