YOUR LIFE AS A HEATING AND COOLING DISPATCHER
This dispatch position typically works at our office between 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday. The schedule can vary during our busy season.
As a Heating and Cooling Dispatcher, you play a crucial role in helping our heating and air conditioning company run smoothly. Every day, you arrive at our office ready to complete a variety of critical tasks, including dispatching our technicians, maintaining our technicians' schedules, and managing conflict resolution with our customers. You competently prioritize all calls according to customer and operational needs. Highly organized, you maintain our techs' on-call schedules, order parts for service appointments, and process warranties. Attentive to detail, you keep our customer database accurately updated. You maintain constant communication with our technicians and contact our clients if any appointments are delayed.
Flexible and adaptable, you also perform administrative duties to assist with the overall efficiency of our operations. You happily participate in all company-sponsored training classes. Service-oriented to your core, you always maintain a courteous demeanor with both customers and associates. You get great satisfaction knowing you do so much to keep the lines of communication between our field team and clients open!
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- 2 years of experience as a dispatcher in the HVAC industry
- High school diploma OR equivalent
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to work extended hours, nights, and weekends
- Ability to read a map and geographical knowledge of our dispatch service area
Industry experience in dispatch and coordination is preferred but not required. If you can meet these requirements and perform this dispatching job as described above, we would be happy to have you as our essential Heating and Cooling Dispatcher!
