Duties
- Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to keep landscapes healthy and vibrant
- Maintain landscape features such as planting beds, shrubs, trees, and flower installations through pruning, trimming, and planting
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like edging, trimming, and installing landscape features
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities including irrigation system checks, repairs, and adjustments to ensure optimal watering efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance on landscaping machinery and tools to ensure proper functioning
Experience
- Prior experience in landscaping, horticulture or garden maintenance is highly desirable
- Knowledge of lawn care practices including mowing techniques and fertilization methods
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance equipment such as trimmers, blowers, power saws, and irrigation tools
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on machinery and tools
- Experience with tree care activities like trimming and pruning using appropriate techniques
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to construction sites, landscaping tools, and machinery
