We do travel out of state. Our travel is usually no longer than a week.

Duties
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot low voltage systems including CCTV surveillance, fire alarms, access control, sensors, IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), and security systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately complete system installations and repairs.
- Perform cabling, wiring, and termination of low voltage circuits using power tools and hand tools while adhering to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Conduct system testing using remote access software and other diagnostic tools to ensure optimal operation of security and communication systems.
- Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or renovations to integrate low voltage infrastructure seamlessly into building designs.
- Provide field service support by troubleshooting on-site issues promptly and efficiently restoring system functionality.
- Assist in sales activities related to alarm system upgrades or new installations by explaining features and benefits to clients.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician or installer specializing in low voltage systems such as CCTV, fire alarms, security systems, or telecommunication networks.
- Strong electrical experience with the ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Mechanical knowledge related to construction practices, power tools operation, and lock smithing is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with computer networking concepts including remote access software, network cabling, switches, routers, and system design principles.
- Knowledge of sensors (motion detectors, door/window contacts), IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), surveillance equipment (CCTV), and alarm systems is essential.
- Experience working with NEC standards for electrical wiring and safety regulations in various environments.
