Role Description
This is a full-time remote role native for Indianapolis IN for a Senior Low Voltage Technician. The individual will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing low voltage electrical systems used in electronic security solutions, including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion alarm systems. The role requires a commitment to ensuring system performance and reliability through detailed inspections, testing, and technical problem-solving. The technician will work independently and collaboratively to ensure the security and satisfaction of clients.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Electrical Maintenance and handling Electrical Equipment.
- Strong knowledge of Electricity and Electrical Engineering principles relevant to low voltage systems.
- Practical experience with Troubleshooting and repairing electronic security systems.
- Ability to read schematic diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Effective time management and problem-solving skills for working independently.
- Familiarity with electronic security-related codes and standards is a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as NICET, OSHA, or manufacturer-specific certifications are advantageous.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for on-site work.
- Strong proficiency with access control systems and service.
- Strong proficiency with CCTV install and service.
- Strong proficiency with intrusion alarm install and service.
