Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Lead Electrician to join our dynamic team, dedicated to ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems across diverse projects. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in both commercial and industrial settings. Duties
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including low voltage and high voltage wiring in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical installations and repairs.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete wiring tasks on construction sites or renovation projects.
- Test electrical circuits with tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to diagnose issues accurately.
- Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to support automation processes in industrial settings.
- Collaborate with construction teams, including frame carpenters and general contractors, to ensure seamless integration of electrical components during building phases.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, inspections completed, and parts used for compliance and future reference.
Experience
- Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial environments, with a strong understanding of NEC regulations.
- Hands-on experience working on construction sites or renovation projects with a focus on electrical systems.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical diagrams essential for accurate installation and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of low voltage systems, high voltage wiring, and power distribution is highly desirable.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and industrial automation equipment is a plus.
- Skilled in using various hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing devices safely and effectively.
