What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance Assistant position at Cable Dahmer Automotive Group?
Cable Dahmer Automotive - Kansas City, MO
We’re Not Looking for Someone to Just “Help.”
We’re looking for someone who takes ownership.
Someone who sees a deal sitting on a desk and thinks, “Why isn't this moving?”
Someone who notices a missing stipulation before someone has to ask.
Someone who follows a deal all the way through—not just until it leaves their hands.
Someone who is willing to go the extra mile because that's simply how they operate.
THIS POSITION IS FOR YOU IF:
This isn't a position where you simply move paperwork around.
You'll be responsible for helping keep the entire finance process moving.
You'll help:
We will give you the tools, training and expectations.
What we won't give you is someone following you around all day telling you what to do next.
You need to be able to look at your workload, prioritize it, and get after it.
If you finish your assigned work and see something else that needs to be done, you don't wait to be asked.
You handle it.
THE PERSON WE WANT
We want someone who is:
Structured.
You know where everything is and what needs to happen next.
Detail-oriented.
You understand that one missed detail can cost time, money and customer satisfaction.
Driven.
You don't need constant motivation from someone else.
Accountable.
When something goes wrong, your first question isn't, “Whose fault is it?” It's, “How do we fix it?”
Hungry to learn.
You don't need to know everything on Day One. You do need to want to know more on Day 30.
Willing to go the extra mile.
Because sometimes the difference between an average employee and an exceptional one is simply who was willing to make the extra call, find the answer, or stay with the deal until it was done.
THIS IS A GROWTH POSITION
Our goal isn't to keep you an assistant forever.
If you learn the business, master deal flow, understand lenders, become proficient at spinning deals, maintain strong compliance and can confidently take a deal from start to finish, there is room to grow.
We want to develop people who can become increasingly valuable to the finance department.
ONE LAST QUESTION...
Are you looking for a job where someone tells you what to do?
Or are you looking for an opportunity where your initiative, organization and willingness to go the extra mile actually matter?
If it's the second one, we want to talk to you.
Apply for the Finance Assistant position.
