Position Overview
Cable Dahmer is seeking an experienced Automotive Sales Manager to lead the new and used vehicle sales operations at one of our locations. This role is designed for a high-performing sales leader with a consistent track record of driving volume, managing gross profit, and developing strong, accountable sales teams.
The ideal candidate leads with integrity, understands how to balance performance with process, and thrives in a fast-paced, results-focused dealership environment.
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking proven sales leaders who consistently deliver results.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate:
3 years of successful automotive sales management experience
A strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales volume and gross profit goals
The ability to lead, coach, and develop sales consultants into high performers
Solid understanding of inventory management, pricing strategies, and market dynamics
A leadership style rooted in accountability, professionalism, and teamwork
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations of the new and used vehicle sales departments
Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve monthly and annual performance targets
Manage inventory levels, pricing strategies, and merchandising to maximize profitability
Partner closely with Finance, Service, and Marketing teams to drive seamless operations
Utilize performance metrics and data to guide decision-making and continuous improvement
Ensure compliance with dealership processes and manufacturer guidelines
Foster a culture focused on customer satisfaction, team development, and long-term retention
